The Ultimate Four-Mile Country Buggy Ride
Enjoy a relaxing tour in Lancaster County, through the Amish fields and farmland. We’ll ride by some of the most beautiful farms in Lancaster County and see other sites along the way, such as an Amish School House and beautiful rolling hills.
Along the back country roads, you’ll see the Amish growing their crops, such as corn and alfalfa. Some of the Amish farms have remained in the Amish families for hundreds of years, dating back to when the Amish came to the New World in the 1700’s. Even as the Amish community spreads, Lancaster County continues to have some of the most fertile soil for the Amish farms.
There are also plenty of Amish business that we’ll pass, so you can see what else the Amish community does instead of farming. If the Amish country roadside stand is open, our drivers will stop for you to purchase some goodies. We’ll pull into the private Amish home, and the Amish girls will come out with a tray of goodies, such as homemade lemonade and root beer.
This beautiful back country ride is a favorite for families, especially those with young kids. It’s the perfect opportunity to ask the driver any questions you may have about Amish life and culture.
